Author Event with Crime Thriller Writer Terry Green

Join Terry, an amusing and entertaining raconteur, to hear about the twists and turns of his life and career that ultimately led to him writing his first crime thriller, “Redline”,  a fast and furious read set in the glamorous world of sports cars. 

Piskey Paths Puppet Show with Mazed Tales

Join Hunt and Bottrell, tale collectors, as they unpack their suitcase of stories with a bit of help from Mazed storytellers. Hear tales of generous giants, mischievous piskeys. hissing spriggans, and flying sheep. A special kind of magic.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available on our Eventbrite site, however these are not mandatory. We recommend all highlighted lecture talks and workshops be prebooked with Eventbrite to avoid missing out once we’re full. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the weekend-long event for all book talks and kids activities.

What are the opening hours for the event?

We are open from 10 AM to 4 PM, across both dates of this weekend-long event.

Is the festival accessible?

Yes, venues are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility needs.

Is free parking available at the venue?

Paid parking and public transport links are available — we are located in the heart of the city centre so there are several public car parks within walking distance of Portland Square.

Is there an age limit for the event?

Absolutely not! Everyone is welcome to attend the Plymouth Literary Festival, except pets (not including service dogs). For our family-friendly activities, we only require a parent/guardian to be present with the child throughout the duration of the sessions.

Is food and drink available at the venue?

Due to our central location, there is a variety of nearby restaurants, cafes, and bars if you wish to go offsite during the event.
